To Be A Final Year Student

What a child wants and does:
We want to make our parents happy and to be proud of us.
We want to graduate soon, and earn our own money as soon as we are graduated.
We don't want to waste our parents' money anymore.

What parents want and do:
They always want to try to provide everything for us.
They want the best for us - the best education.

And these two form an unbreakable circle that makes us, the-final-year-students-who-are-going-to-be-graduated-soon, be in a difficult position: we have to decide and choose between further education or looking for a job. As a child, we don't want to waste any more of our parents' money and our time. We don't want to put the burdens on their shoulders any longer. We just want to start to be able to earn our own money, to be success and take the turn to make them happily-retired parents. However, further education is important and our parents always want the best for us. They would do anything they could to provide the best for us.

Being a final year student is never easy, I think. You have to start thinking about your future - what you want to be, how you want your life to be, where you want to be, etc. It's time for the "newly hatched" to be in the real world, to prove especially to the parents that they have raised their children successfully.

A big, yet a very tough decision to make.. And we'll keep on wondering the mystery of God's plans - what He wants us to be and to do - and His timing. Just believe that, if our parents on earth want the best for us, then so does our Father in Heaven. And the good news is, He KNOWS what's best for us, and He will provide, He will show us the way.. Just keep on track, keep on doing our best, and stay in faith. Amen..
